Such expertise has seen Sulzer pumps utilized around the world, enabling a number of large scale oil and gas projects, with the business focused on delivering the performance, quality and reliability these applications demand.
Maintenance support is a key component of Sulzer’s service offering, providing end users of rotating equipment in the sector with a fast response and reliable repairs. Sulzer utilizes its worldwide service center network to provide local points of expertise. Service centers, such as Sulzer’s Buenos Aires facility, enable rapid repairs to the highest standard to ensure downtime is minimized effectively. As a result, Sulzer can operate as a full maintenance partner.
AOG 2017 will gather delegates and exhibitors to showcase the latest developments in the energy industry. The event is organized by the Argentine Oil and Gas Institute (IAPG), with around 20,000 attendees expected to make the journey to Buenos Aires this year. Sulzer will have a number of unique displays on its stand, as well as representatives ready to discuss your application requirements.
Sulzer will also be showcasing the MC High Pressure Stage Casing Pump, which is specialized to offer high performance when pumping salt water. This is especially useful in well pumping applications, where equalizing well pressure is paramount to smooth operations. Its modular hydraulics offer high efficiency across a range of operating modes.
In addition, a cut out of a GE Ultra 841 severe duty motor will be available for viewing; this 300 HP device is regarded as one of the most durable on the market, making it ideal for high-stress drive applications in the industry. Furthermore, Sulzer will be displaying its high voltage (HV) coils, which are manufactured in-house. Sulzer HV coils are fully tested to provide proven performance, reliability and efficiency for motors and generators. Finally, Sulzer refurbished blades and a rotor pump will be on stand, highlighting its inherent capability to repair such components and devices on short lead times to minimize the impact of operational downtime.
