DPI Plastics has updated its sewer design manual to showcase its expanded sewer range of up to 630 mm. The manual forms part of the company’s value-added services for its customers.
The updated manual contains detailed technical specifications on specific sewer products manufactured by DPI Plastics, as well as comprehensive information to aid designers and installers, explains DPI Plastics Technical and Product Manager Renier Snyman.
“The sewer manual is aimed at providing guidance with the design, installation, transportation, and storage of our products. It covers product specifications, in addition to installation and related issues. It will include our expanded sewer range of up to 630 mm, which is now in production at our Roodekop, Johannesburg facility,” Snyman explains.
He emphasises that the sewer manual forms part of DPI Plastics’ value-added service offering for its extensive client base. “This service includes training in the use of our products.” The manual is aimed at installers, engineers, and plumbers. It will be made available in an on-line format in May.
DPI Plastics is also represented on the new APP PLUMBER from the Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IOPSA). This is the first local plumbing App linked to both the Plumbing Industry Registration Board and Certificate of Compliance system, as well as providing access to all the tools and products required. The App includes installation guides from leading manufacturers such as DPI Plastics.
