Previous Month Presentation:
For July we were fortunate to have Mr. Lloyd Townsend from WIKA present on Calibration – Necessary evil or quality driver? The presentation covered how important the subject is in relation to efficiency in order to maximise profits. Traceability and proof there off along with calibration hierarchy was also discussed. An interesting concept discussed included “uncertainty of measurement vs. accuracy statement”. The presentation is available to interested parties. We were fortunate to have some esteemed quests and for Mr. Hans van de Groenendaal from EE Publishers to summarize the presentation in an article as per: http://www.ee.co.za/article/calibration-a-quality-driver.html
