SMEC South Africa was once again the top winner at the 2017 Construction Industry Business Excellence Awards held in Johannesburg on 8 May, hosted by PMR.africa.
The awards are industry-driven and based on in-depth market research from within the construction industry, and are a reflection of how clients rate companies. For the second year running, SMEC South Africa was placed first overall in the following categories for companies with more than 400 employees:

- Structural Consulting Engineers
- Combined Civil & Structural Consulting
