A highlight of the petrochemical and energy sector’s calendar is always the African Petrochemical Roadshow travelling exhibitions, which showcase products, services and expertise available to the petrochemical, engineering, mining and power generation industries.
Print and digital trade magazine for the sector in South Africa, African Petrochemicals & Energy, which hosts these special exhibitions, has announced a not to be missed national exhibition programme for the rest of 2022, including their ever popular petrochemical and energy Secunda Roadshow Exhibition, which will take place in Secunda, Mpumalanga, on 23 June 2022.
According to Candace Buckley, marketing strategist at African Petrochemicals, the exhibition — which this year will include presentations by experts from IDC, SAEEC and Proconics — is designed to facilitate knowledge transfer, showcase the latest products and services to players in the sector, and facilitate introductions that support collaboration and economic growth in South Africa.
“The event, which has grown from strength-to-strength over the years, is not only a great forum for companies to showcase their products and services, but also provides the opportunity for meaningful face-to-face networking for both exhibitors and visitors. Exhibiting service and product providers are able to connect with project leaders and corporates working within the sector, enabling the former to learn about and take advantage of supply chain opportunities,” adds Buckley.
She says another important aspect of the exhibition is the Enterprise, Supplier Development (ESD) pavilions, which aim to provide the small, medium and micro enterprise (SMME) sector with access to markets. The pavilions will, in turn, provide corporate companies with the opportunity to connect with smaller empowered service and product providers working within the sector.
“The development of industry entrepreneurs and the growing of the SMME sector have been identified as being among the best ways of stimulating economic growth, achieving transformation and creating jobs in South Africa. Hence our emphasis on this sector through the exhibition’s innovative ESD pavilions.”
Buckley notes that the event provides exhibitors with a host of opportunities to connect, and market their products and services to the industry. Outside space will be provided for branded gazebos, trailers and equipment, while stands will have an inside meeting hub. African Petrochemicals & Energy, the only industry-specific publication combining print coverage alongside one-on-one interaction at its exhibitions, will provide opportunities for editorial placement and social media sharing across all channels, further facilitating networking opportunities between end-users and suppliers.
“A definite high point in the industry’s calendar, we expect the 2022 Secunda Roadshow Exhibition to attract exhibitors and visitors from around the country, and provide an unmatched opportunity to network with the who’s who of the industry. If you don’t want to miss out on this important sector forum, be sure to contact us and book your place today,” concludes Buckley.
