Masslift Africa keeps their promise of reliability by ploughing back into the community
Making a positive impact on society remains one of Masslift Africa’s fundamental driving forces, whether through enabling businesses to scale up their operations or directly creating job opportunities.
As a purpose-driven organisation, Masslift Africa is acutely aware of its role in contributing to a more equitable and sustainable society.
To that end, Masslift Africa supported two initiatives geared towards reducing suffering and hardship among the most vulnerable persons in South Africa.
Masslift Africa believes in not only investing in the youth through employment opportunities, skills development, and mentorship but also in assisting organisations that are dedicated to uplifting children and young people.
For this year’s Nelson Mandela Day, Masslift Africa contributed to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital via Jacaranda FM’s Good Morning Angels initiative. Masslift Africa pledged R60 000, which translates into treatment for two children in need of medical care.
“This is a very worthy cause. Investing in our children is investing in the future,” said Masslift Africa’s Chief Financial Officer, Thembi Mazibuko.
In addition to its donation to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital, Masslift Africa’s Cape Town branch supported the Durbanville Children’s Home on Nelson Mandela Day.
The Durbanville Children’s Home is dedicated to the care, development and rehabilitation of emotionally traumatised children between the ages of two and 18. Masslift Africa supported the Durbanville Children’s Home through its ‘Adopt A Baby in a Box’ initiative.
“As a company operating in South Africa, it is more than required from us to play our part to ensure the stability of the economy but also the stability of the people living in our country. We believe in helping where we can.” concludes Mazibuko.
